Lucas Meyerson was born and raised in Los Angeles, which is to say he grew up fast and got himself into trouble.  He discovered his artistic ability at a young age and it gave him the means to express himself in a way that words could not. 

 

Meyerson’s art portrays classical subjects like the female nude, while incorporating elements of Abstract Expressionism that fill the spaces between what is communicated and what is left unsaid. Meyerson explores the dichotomous nature of dueling emotions on one’s internal battlefield. His artwork is evocative and deals with life’s persistent themes of love and loss, comedy and tragedy, security and self doubt.
